GEMS Royal Dubai School is a vibrant, premium British curriculum school currently educating students from FS1 to Year 8. We are proudly expanding to Year 9 in September 2026, with a clear and strategic growth plan through to Year 13. As part of this exciting phase of growth, we are delighted to be opening a brand-new, purpose-built secondary campus in September 2026. This state-of-the-art facility will further enhance the world-class education we offer across two sites.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Computing Teacher to join our team in September 2026. Experience teaching Design Technology at Key Stages 2 and 3 would be desirable. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a proven track record of driving standards, and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence for all learners. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious educator who is passionate about children’s learning and keen to make a meaningful impact while driving the Royal Standard.

Job Purpose

To teach Computing as a subject specialist across Key Stages 2 and 3, with the role growing into Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering an outstanding, holistic and dynamic learning experience that leads to exceptionally high outcomes for all students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a clear commitment to excellence for every learner
  • Show strong subject knowledge of the Computing curriculum across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4, with the ability to contribute to Key Stage 5, including up-to-date knowledge of examination boards and pathways
  • Deliver consistently high-quality teaching and learning, collaborating with colleagues and sharing best practice
  • Use student data effectively to personalise learning and maximise progress
  • Maintain a high-performance mindset, remaining reflective, solution-focused and proactive
  • Bring creativity, enthusiasm and innovation to teaching and learning
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and support students’ personal and social development
  • Build positive and professional relationships with colleagues, students and parents
  • Demonstrate aspiration to work in a world-class school with genuine opportunities for career development
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and community events
  • Engage actively in ongoing professional development
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the CEO and Principal
