Job Overview
This position centers on delivering exceptional instruction in Physics at the AS/A Level, while also supporting the broader curriculum through KS3 Science and Mathematics. The educator will foster analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, ensuring students build a solid foundation in both scientific and mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics at the AS/A Level, preparing students for their external assessments

• Deliver KS3 Science and Mathematics, ensuring students acquire a robust foundational understanding

• Design and implement engaging, practical, and concept-oriented lessons

• Employ diverse assessment methods to track student progress and offer focused feedback

• Assist with laboratory activities while maintaining safe and effective practical lessons

• Participate in curriculum development within the Science and Mathematics departments

• Engage in extracurricular activities

• Collaborate with colleagues and maintain effective communication with students and parents

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role at an international school

• Valid teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent certification

• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum

• Native English speaker or possess excellent English proficiency in both spoken and written forms

• Strong classroom management and communication abilities

• Dedication to Values-based Education and Enquiry Learning

• Experience in teaching AS/A Level Physics, along with Science and Mathematics

Compensation

£1,600 - £2,200 per month (Based on your classroom teaching experience and the school's teacher pays cale)
