Job Overview
In this position, you will provide exceptional Physical Education instruction throughout the Secondary School and contribute to an energetic and inclusive sports program. This role may also allow for leadership opportunities in further developing the school’s athletics offerings, with the potential to take on the Athletics and Activities Coordinator position.

Key Responsibilities

Design and instruct Physical Education lessons across the Secondary School (IGCSE level)


Create and deliver engaging lessons that foster fitness, skill enhancement, and teamwork


Coordinate and lead extracurricular sports teams, clubs, and competitions


Enhance and support the school’s athletics program and competitive events


Track student progress while encouraging participation, well-being, and sportsmanship


Engage in school events and actively contribute to the broader school community


Assume leadership roles in the athletics coordinator or director capacity as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field


At least 2 years of experience in a similar role at an international school


A recognized teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent credential


Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum


Native English speaker or possess excellent spoken and written English proficiency


Dedication to Values-based Education and Inquiry Learning


Experience teaching IGCSE Physical Education is preferred


Proven coaching experience in one or more sports


Capability to lead and manage extracurricular sports initiatives

Compensation

£1,600 - £2,200 per month (Based on your classroom teaching experience and the school's teacher pays cale)
