Key Responsibilities



Demonstrate and exemplify outstanding classroom practices in accordance with the GEMS Teaching & Learning Policy, Teach Like a GEMS Educator (TLAG), and Read Like a GEMS Educator (RLAG).


Assist the Principal and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in advancing school improvement, staff development, and safeguarding measures.


Guide and mentor teachers to ensure consistently high teaching standards, effective assessment, and inclusion practices.


Utilize data and assessment methods to enhance student outcomes and ensure readiness for KHDA inspections.


Encourage positive behavior, promote well-being, and foster a robust school culture that reflects GEMS values.

Skills


Proven leadership and management experience within an educational setting, preferably at the Key Stage level or in a similar middle or senior leadership capacity.


Solid understanding of curriculum design, assessment practices, and monitoring student progress, with the ability to effectively leverage data to drive enhancements.


Demonstrated success in fostering high standards of behavior, inclusion, and student well-being in alignment with GEMS Founders values.


Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building constructive relationships with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders.


A collaborative leadership approach that inspires, motivates, and supports teams to achieve common objectives and ensure ongoing school improvement.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
