Situated in the heart of Ras Al Khaimah city, RAK Academy – Khuzam is a comprehensive all-through institution providing education from Pre-K to Grade 12. The primary section follows an adapted UK National Curriculum alongside the IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), while the secondary section features a dual-pathway model, integrating the UK curriculum and the International Baccalaureate in the Sixth Form. We are accredited by British Schools Overseas (BSO), aligning our standards with leading international British schools, and we are equipped to deliver the ECT induction for teachers.
The Role:
RAK Academy Khuzam seeks an enthusiastic, motivated, and inspiring Arabic A teacher to join our successful and dynamic Arabic department. Arabic is offered from Grade 6 to 12. In Grades 9 and 10, students can select Arabic First Language as an IGCSE subject, and in Grades 11 and 12, Arabic is available as an option in both the A-Level and International Baccalaureate Diploma pathways.
Essential Qualifications:
•
A Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Studies or a related field.
•
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
•
Familiarity with the Ministry of Education curriculum for Arabic A.
•
Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning methodologies.
•
High proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance teaching and learning.
•
Ability to engage, motivate, and support students effectively.
•
Reflective practitioner with a creative and innovative mindset.
•
Positive, enthusiastic team member with a growth-oriented approach.
•
Willingness to actively participate in extracurricular activities.
•
Excellent communication skills.
•
Experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses (Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply).
Desirable Qualifications:
•
Experience in teaching a humanities subject for the IB Diploma.
•
Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes.
