Prior experience in senior leadership, preferably in a pastoral capacity (if lacking SLT experience, exceptional pastoral leadership impact and capability must be demonstrated).
•
Hold a Bachelor of Education or Subject Degree with a relevant teaching qualification, such as PGCE plus Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).
•
Have significant recent professional development relevant to the position.
Preferred:
•
Experience with coaching practices and methodologies, ideally with formal accreditation.
•
A successful track record in initiating and implementing comprehensive school change.
•
NPQSL or an equivalent qualification.
•
A Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
