Arabic Literacy Coach

Yas School is looking to hire a high-achieving Arabic Literacy Coach to become part of our team in August 2026 for the academic year 2026-2027, or sooner if possible.

At Yas School, we implement the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum with a particular emphasis on inclusive education, enrichment, and equipping learners for the future. Established in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government school, serving over 1,750 boys and girls on our expansive campus.

We are in search of a skilled practitioner, knowledgeable in either UK or US curricula, and preferably with experience in the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.

In the role of Arabic Literacy Coach, your responsibilities will include executing targeted Arabic Literacy strategies as outlined in the Arabic Literacy improvement plan. This entails providing coaching and support for designated teachers, engaging in team teaching, assisting in the delivery of student intervention programs, and crafting effective instructional plans and resources.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education

• A Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is preferred

• Proficiency in English, evidenced by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or its equivalent

• Bilingual abilities (English & Arabic) are essential

• A UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or actively working towards obtaining one

• A minimum of 4 years of classroom teaching experience in either English or Arabic subject areas

• Previous coaching experience is advantageous.
