Upper School Head of Physics

Essential Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable position.
• Qualified teacher status through a PGCE, GTP, or other recognized international equivalent.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching to EAL students.
• Exceptional relationships with both students and staff that foster excellent classroom discipline and achievement.
• Experience in designing and implementing engaging, challenging, and tailored lessons.
• Background in leading or supporting departmental leadership or providing assistance to a school or department.

Desirable

• Experience in instructional coaching practices, ideally with accreditation.
• Demonstrated involvement in transformative changes within a department.
• A leadership role in organizing and executing extra-curricular activities.
• Evidence of participation in relevant continuing professional development (CPD).
• Potential opportunity for Head of Year for candidates with appropriate experience.
