About This Role
FTE: Full-time
Term of Employment: Temporary until June 26, 2026 (with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role)
Salary and Benefits: Compensation will align with the provincial salary grid, along with a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a Northern living allowance. Relocation support may also be available.
Qualifications:
- Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher’s Certificate (or proof of eligibility)
- Expertise and experience in applying best practices in instruction, curriculum design, classroom environment, and assessment
- Awareness of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
- Demonstrated effectiveness in both collaborative and independent work environments
Preferred Candidates will have:
- Experience and understanding of Northern issues
- A minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
- At least five years of proven administrative experience across elementary, middle, and secondary levels
- Graduate-level credentials in school administration
- Strong capabilities in instructional leadership, organization, interpersonal relations, and communication
- A solid commitment to community schools and the concept of safe schools
