Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education or related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in art at the middle school level
- Strong knowledge of Common Core standards as they apply to art education
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans that encourage creativity and skill development
- Proficiency with various art mediums and techniques suitable for middle school students
- Excellent classroom management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment
- Effective communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues
