About This Role

Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is a growing K-12 school district focused on nurturing responsible citizenship and equipping students for higher education. Our mission centers on imparting crucial ethical values such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty alongside essential academic subjects.

A thriving school environment is characterized by high-quality instruction from teachers and impactful learning experiences for students. To facilitate this, SPAS is committed to establishing a safe environment for all members of the community, with a strong emphasis on citizenship and equitable rule enforcement. We acknowledge the vital role that parents play in education and their influence on their children’s academic achievements and behavior.

At SPAS, we are in search of educators who view their roles as more than just teaching. The ideal candidates will be those who are dedicated to understanding how to assist students who face challenges, how to further motivate high-achieving students, and the reasons behind students’ performance levels. Their commitment arises from a genuine desire to see students not only succeed but truly thrive. Our educators are enthusiastic about collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to promote student success.

We believe that education goes beyond merely assigning, collecting, and grading work. If you resonate with this philosophy, we encourage you to apply via the WhatSchool platform.
