The role involves creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports pupils’ academic progress, personal development and wellbeing.

Key duties include planning and teaching engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND, EAL, or high prior attainment; assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ progress using formative and summative assessment; and adapting teaching to ensure all pupils make good or better progress.
