We are on the lookout for an outstanding early childhood educator who specializes in working with children aged 3 to 5 years. This role is part of a collaborative teaching team within our ECE Centre, dedicated to supporting the positive growth and development of young girls in a nurturing, play-based setting. The ideal candidate will become part of a lively and innovative school community that prioritizes personal excellence, holistic development, and overall well-being.

In this role, you will assist a team of Junior Kindergarten teachers during the school day and lead our after-school care program for young learners. Hours of work: 9:45am - 5:45pm daily

Responsibilities:
● Collaborate as part of an energetic team of early childhood educators
● Assist ECE students in various activities that promote a play-based learning approach
● Provide support to individual children as necessary
● Design and implement an after-school care program for young girls
● Supervise children during lunch and outdoor play
● Take the initiative to seek out tasks
● Prepare instructional materials and create classroom visual displays
● Ensure the learning environment is set up effectively and remains clean and organized
● Participate in school activities such as Sports Day and ECE concerts

Qualifications:
● Early Childhood Educator Certificate or Diploma
● Relevant experience as an early childhood educator is an asset
● Understanding of the learning preferences of young girls
● Proven collaborative skills
● Ability to be creative, adaptable, and patient
● Excellent communication abilities
● Strong commitment to the care and safety of young children
● Dedication to integrating school routines and learning within a childcare context
● Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
