Founded in 2021, Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) is a partnership between the Hong Kong Xinyi Group and the Pui Kiu Education Foundation. It stands out as the first international boarding school in Mainland China to offer both the National Compulsory Education Curriculum and the Hong Kong Curriculum, as well as the first institution to deliver a continuous 16-year education program tailored specifically for Hong Kong students.

Located in the Longhua District of Shenzhen, the school is easily accessible, situated near the Shenzhen North Railway Station. The campus spans approximately 45,000 square meters, with a total building area nearing 180,000 square meters. Travel to Hong Kong is convenient, with only a 19-minute journey to West Kowloon Station and 21 minutes to Futian Port using high-speed rail and Shenzhen Metro Line 4, facilitating efficient daily commutes between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

• First institution in Mainland China to undergo an External School Review by the Hong Kong Education Bureau, conducted by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ).

• Authorized by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) (Global Centre Code: CX221).

2. Positions Available

We are seeking educators for the Biology subject within IGCSE/A-Level/HKDSE programs.

3. Job Description

Teaching Responsibilities

• Develop and submit semester teaching plans, setting clear instructional goals.
• Deliver all lessons in English, maintaining academic rigor and engaging students effectively.

Communication Responsibilities

• Participate in departmental and staff meetings.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates regarding students' academic progress.

Support Responsibilities

• Engage in school management tasks, supervision duties, and promotional events as needed.

4. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a relevant field. (Candidates with a Master’s degree and a recognized teaching qualification will be prioritized.)
• At least five years of teaching experience in IGCSE, A-Level, HKDSE, or other recognized international curricula. (Those with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in education-related areas must have a minimum of two years of teaching experience.)
• A solid understanding of the UK/western higher education systems and the academic requirements of international students.
• Previous experience in international higher education settings is advantageous.
