We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will have an excellent record of improving student outcomes, especially for disadvantaged students and students with special educational needs. They will have previous experience of leading a department, faculty and have a good understanding of how to analyse data, effective curriculum planning and use of progress data.

Based in Winsford, Cheshire, the Winsford Academy is an 11 to 16 co-educational comprehensive school.

Staff at Winsford Academy are at the forefront of transforming young lives. The socio-economic context of the school places it in the 5th quintile for deprivation on entry, the proportion of young people that have special education is significantly higher than national average.
