About This Role

About the role

Become part of our dynamic international community by teaching Economics within a curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England, GCSEs/IGCSEs, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Specifically, you will instruct Economics courses at both Higher Level and Standard Level within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Your role will involve motivating students to set high aspirations for themselves while seeking out and applying innovative teaching methods to enhance their learning experience and outcomes. You will also embrace the broader responsibilities of a teacher in an international setting, serving as an enthusiastic form tutor and engaging in our care and guidance program as well as co-curricular activities.

About you

You are capable of fostering a classroom environment where there are no limits to achievement. Ideally, you possess a degree in your subject area, a teaching qualification, along with significant teaching experience and a solid understanding of the curriculum. Open to feedback and eager to adapt, you will be enthusiastic about sharing best practices with your colleagues.

As a strong representative of the school, you will devise new strategies to engage students and parents with both our school and the Nord Anglia Education community. Your motivation and communication skills will help create an atmosphere of energy, excitement, and personal investment in the classroom.
