Job Description:
In the role of Elementary School Interventionist, you will collaborate closely with classroom teachers and support personnel to identify and assist students requiring additional academic aid. This position entails the creation and execution of targeted intervention strategies aimed at helping students navigate learning obstacles, enhance their skills, and succeed in the elementary curriculum.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related discipline (required)
- At least 5 years of experience as an interventionist or in a comparable learning support role within an elementary school context
- Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based intervention techniques for literacy, numeracy, and other foundational subjects
- Proficient in assessing student needs through both formal and informal evaluation methods
- Proven experience working with teachers, parents, and specialists to formulate individualized learning plans
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Skilled in utilizing educational technology tools for assessment and instruction
