About This Role
ALS is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our talented team of educators. In this role, you will be tasked with creating and executing a comprehensive educational teaching plan that aligns with the school's standards.
• Deliver lessons in an engaging manner, utilizing visual and audio aids to enhance learning in accordance with IBO guidelines.
• Offer personalized instruction to students, fostering an interactive learning environment.
• Develop and distribute educational materials such as notes, summaries, and assignments.
• Evaluate and document student progress while providing grades and constructive feedback.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, parents, and other stakeholders, and engage in regular meetings.
• Contribute positively to the school’s atmosphere and serve as a positive representative within the community.
• Organize and implement educational activities and events both in the classroom and outdoors.
• Monitor and analyze student behavior and mental well-being, reporting any concerns of neglect or abuse as necessary.
• Enhance your professional skills and knowledge through participation in seminars, conferences, and workshops.
• Actively contribute to school-wide professional development initiatives.
• Be receptive to constructive feedback and criticism.
• Uphold school policies and procedures, consistently enforcing school rules.
• Take necessary precautions to ensure student safety at all times.
• Be willing to extend your work hours beyond the school day when needed to support student learning.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain transparent and honest communication with your principal.
• Exhibit patience in working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
