Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in Design and Technology at the secondary school level
- In-depth knowledge of US curriculum standards for Design & Technology
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans that integrate practical design projects with theoretical concepts
- Familiarity with contemporary technological tools relevant to design education (e.g., CAD software, 3D printing)
- Strong classroom management abilities to inspire a diverse group of students
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and fellow educators
