Inherited from 450 years of educational excellence at Harrow School in the UK, Asia International School Limited (AISL) boasts over 20 years of experience in the educational sector, having established international schools in Bangkok (1998), Beijing (2005), Hong Kong (2012), and Shanghai (2016).

Harrow International School (HIS) and Harrow Innovation Leadership Academy (HILA) Haikou represent a significant initiative for the Hainan government as it works to develop Haikou into an international education hub. Harrow Haikou is the first globally recognized educational brand in the province, aiming to redefine high-quality education in the region.

Situated strategically in the Jiangdong District, at the north of Jiangdong Avenue and the south side of Linhai Third Road, Harrow Haikou offers K-12 international and bilingual education for both local and foreign day and boarding students. Both institutions commenced operations in September 2020.

We are in search of exceptional staff for positions beginning in August 2025. Successful candidates will receive two-year renewable contracts with highly competitive employment terms and remarkable working conditions.

Application Criteria

• A relevant degree, with a UK PGCE or other teaching qualification that confers QTS
• At least two years of teaching experience
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum of England, including IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels as applicable
• A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to the holistic education of all children
• A strong sense of professionalism and a focus on children's well-being
• Recent and active participation in extra-curricular activities
• Respect for every member of the school community, regardless of position, age, or ethnic background
• Prior experience working with students for whom English is a second language
• A positive, solution-oriented approach to work
• A clean International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) or police check for applicants without prior UK work experience, with no issues regarding suitability to work with children
