Inherited from 450 years of educational excellence at Harrow School in the UK, Asia International School Limited (AISL) boasts over 20 years of experience in the field of education, having established international schools in Bangkok (1998), Beijing (2005), Hong Kong (2012), and Shanghai (2016).
Harrow International School (HIS) and Harrow Innovation Leadership Academy (HILA) Haikou represent a significant initiative for the Hainan government as they strive to develop Haikou into a global education hub. Harrow Haikou stands as the first prestigious educational institution in the province, poised to redefine high-quality education in the region.
Strategically situated in the Jiangdong District, at the intersection of Jiangdong Avenue and the southern side of Linhai Third Road, Harrow Haikou offers K-12 international and bilingual education for both local and international day and boarding students. Both schools commenced operations in September 2020.
We are currently looking for exceptional staff to fill positions beginning in August 2025. Successful candidates will receive two-year renewable contracts with highly competitive employment terms and excellent working conditions.

Application Criteria
- Relevant degree, UK PGCE, or other teaching qualification that provides QTS
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum of England (including IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels as applicable)
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing the whole child
- A strong sense of professionalism and a focus on the welfare of children
- Recent and active participation in extracurricular activities
- Respect for all members of a school community, regardless of role, age, or ethnicity
- Previous experience working with students for whom English is not the first language
- A positive, solution-oriented approach to the workplace
- A clean International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) or police check (for applicants without prior UK experience) and no concerns regarding suitability to work with children
