About This Role
Essential Requirements
1. A minimum of 2 years of recent successful teaching experience, ideally within an International school setting.
2. A graduate-qualified teacher.
3. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area.
4. Qualified Teacher Status along with proof of appropriate subsequent in-service training.
5. Proven experience in working with students within the designated age group.
6. A track record of inspiring students within an engaging learning environment.
7. Demonstrated ability to utilize ICT effectively to enhance learning.
Desirable
1. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
2. Experience in teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) students.
3. Familiarity with delivering IGCSE and A Level coursework.
4. Prior experience in an international school and understanding of the British education system.
5. Evidence of establishing clear objectives and goals for students that resulted in notable improvements in their achievement across the subject.
6. Knowledge of positive disciplinary techniques.
7. Understanding of child development and its influence on behavior.
