About This Role

Essential Requirements

1. A minimum of 2 years of recent, successful teaching experience.
2. Graduate qualified teacher status.
3. Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area.
4. Qualified Teacher Status with evidence of suitable ongoing professional development.
5. Proven experience working with students in the relevant age group.
6. A track record of inspiring students in an engaging learning environment.
7. Demonstrated ability to utilize ICT effectively to enhance learning.

Desirable

1. A Master's degree is advantageous.
2. Experience teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
3. Familiarity with delivering IGCSE and A Level curriculum.
4. Previous experience in an international school setting and an understanding of the British education system.
5. Evidence of establishing clear goals and objectives for students that have led to marked improvements in their achievement across the subject.
6. Knowledge of positive disciplinary techniques.
7. Understanding of child development and its influence on behavior.
8. Potential opportunity for candidates with suitable experience to take on a Head of Year role.
