About This Role

We arelooking for a Primary English Lead & class teacher who is passionate about their subject, someonewho will excite and engage pupils in their learning and lay strong foundations for success in the nextstage of their journey. We are looking to employ anexceptional English Lead class teacher who shares our values and determination to deliver an excellent,inclusive education that enables our young people to thrive and succeed in the learning and life.

We are looking for an excellent Primary English Lead with:

• Proven successful teaching and achievement of outstanding pupil progress with an understanding of howchildren learn and the complexities of this process;

• Experience of successful leadership skills or evidence of developing leadership skills at a primary,secondary or all-through school within a multicultural community.

• Knowledge of relevant developments and innovations in the primary curriculum and pedagogy toenhance school practice, pupil progress and standards of achievement.

• Knowledge of the current educational issues and characteristics of effective primary and/or secondaryschools and strategies for raising standards and the progress and achievement of all pupils.

• The skills to work successfully as a team member establishing effective working relationships and flexibleworking practices; contributing to high staff morale through the enthusiasm, drive and determination toinspire others and achieve the highest standards.

• Experience of following direction and working in collaboration with colleagues, parents, pupils and theschool community.

• The ability to be kind, positive and committed to the school’s inclusive ethos.

• The ability to be flexible, calm, work under pressure and manage change effectively.

Compensation

£30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS Scale)
