Job Detail

We are seeking a Teacher of Science, preferably with a focus on Chemistry, to join our esteemed Science Team. This position offers an exciting chance to work alongside dedicated educators who prioritize student-centered learning.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate a strong passion for teaching and learning in the sciences.
  • Be capable of teaching all sciences at KS3 and KS4.
  • Have experience teaching Chemistry at the GCSE level.
  • Possess experience with A Level Chemistry or a willingness to teach it (preferred).
  • Effectively use practical experiments, demonstrations, and diverse innovative teaching strategies to engage and inspire students.
  • Show a commitment to staying updated on current scientific developments and integrating technology and digital resources to enrich the learning experience in science education.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the science curriculum and departmental materials.
  • Provide exceptional instruction while being mindful of pastoral responsibilities.
  • Utilize data effectively to support student progress.
  • Hold an accredited science degree and a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Exhibit a commitment to continual professional development and improvement.
