Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging music lessons that comply with the UK curriculum for primary students
- Foster students’ musical skills, knowledge, and appreciation through interactive activities and performances
- Develop and organize lesson materials catering to diverse learning styles
- Plan and oversee school concerts, assemblies, and various musical events
- Collaborate with colleagues from different departments to enhance the overall educational experience
- Continuously assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music or a related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in an elementary/primary school setting
- Comprehensive understanding of the UK music curriculum standards
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to effectively engage young learners
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with students, parents, and staff
