About the Role

DESS College is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Music and Music Technology, with the position commencing in August 2026.

About You

  • Possess the necessary qualifications (PGCE in Music Technology or an equivalent).
  • Have at least one year of teaching experience within the UK curriculum and hold QTS.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm, commitment, energy, and empathy in your approach to teaching music and music technology.
  • The capability to teach KS3 Music would be an advantageous addition.
  • Be prepared to positively engage in all facets of the College's vision, including extracurricular activities.
  • Demonstrate initiative, self-reflection, and a drive for improvement.
  • Have the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Senior Leaders, teachers, students, and parents.
