About This Role

Teacher of A Level History (teaching Politics is a plus)
0.6. Fixed term until 31 August 2027.
Sixth form spine point 1–9 (£33,465.12 – £51,714.00 pro rata)

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of A Level History to become part of our exceptional and supportive Humanities team. This role presents a thrilling chance to motivate and engage students through outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct stimulating and effective lessons in Level 3 History.
• Foster student success through high-quality teaching, assessment, and feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement and enrichment initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support teams to improve the student experience.
• Advocate for safeguarding, wellbeing, and equal opportunities for every learner.

What We’re Looking For:
• A qualified and enthusiastic educator with expertise in History (ability to teach Politics is desirable).
• A dedication to ongoing improvement and student achievement.
• Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to inspire young minds.
• A collaborative team player willing to engage with the broader college community.
