Job Responsibilities
We seek outstanding teachers who can deliver our curricula in a creative, collaborative, and highly engaging manner. Al Rabeeh School is a member of the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) and is dedicated to the professional development and continuing professional education programs offered by the BSME.
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teachers play a crucial role at Al Rabeeh School by laying the essential groundwork for subsequent year groups to build upon, developing students' skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm for learning. The ideal candidate will align with the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh, which serves a diverse population of Emirati/Arab and international students. Our school proudly represents 52 nationalities, allowing us to honor diversity and celebrate cultural customs and values.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong subject knowledge of the EYFS
- The capability to create an engaging learning environment
- Familiarity with current UK initiatives and developments
- A strong focus and desire to excel in teaching and learning
- The ability to foster creative learning and develop 21st-century learning environments and innovation skills
- Confidence in using technology to enhance and extend student learning experiences
- Experience in utilizing data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external assessments to monitor student progress
- Experience teaching EAL students is preferred, but not mandatory
Qualifications
The successful applicant will possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status (UK), a PGCE in Early Years/Primary Education, or a Degree in Education (Early Years/Primary Education)
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience in Early Years education
- Proven ability and confidence to teach students aged 3-5
- A passport from an English-speaking country
