About This Role

The Dragon is looking to hire a remarkable Drama teacher for students in Years 4 to 8 who is eager to actively contribute to the vibrant, dynamic, and successful environment of our school. The Drama Department plays a vital role in school activities, boasting exceptionally high levels of involvement from students, faculty, and parents alike. This includes producing three major school performances each year, drawing average audiences exceeding 1,000 per show, as well as participating in tours to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and various other exciting opportunities.

All staff members are encouraged to engage in the extracurricular program (which encompasses Activities, Clubs & Quest) and/or Sports. The school’s size allows for a diverse range of cultural and academic pursuits to be embraced, providing numerous chances for career advancement within the institution.

The Dragon operates on a non-selective admission basis and takes pride in delivering exceptional academic, pastoral, and cocurricular achievements for students in both its pre-preparatory department, Dragon Pre-Prep (serving ages 4-7), and the preparatory department (ages 8-13).
