About This Role
We are seeking an exceptional, qualified under-2 teacher to join our passionate and nurturing early childhood team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated kaiako who truly understands the importance of the first 1,000 days and is committed to providing high-quality care and education for our youngest learners.
Our ideal candidate will be a warm, responsive, and respectful teacher who builds strong, trusting relationships with infants, toddlers, and their whānau. You will have a deep understanding of infant and toddler development, including respectful caregiving practices. You will be confident in creating a calm, engaging environment that supports exploration, sensory play, and uninterrupted play-based learning.
You will hold a recognised ECE qualification and current teacher registration, along with a strong knowledge of Te Whāriki. You will be a reflective kaiako who values collaboration, communication, and continuous professional growth. A genuine passion for working with under-2s is essential, along with patience, empathy, and the ability to respond sensitively to individual cues and needs.
In return, we offer a supportive and inclusive team culture, ongoing professional development opportunities, and a well-resourced learning environment where your ideas and strengths are valued. We believe in fostering a positive workplace where teachers feel appreciated, inspired, and empowered to make a meaningful difference.
If you are a passionate and committed teacher who thrives in an infant and toddler setting and wants to be part of a centre that truly values quality care and relationships, we would love to hear from you.
