About This Role

Teach Spanish Immersion in the U.S. with Participate Learning

Make a difference in the lives of young learners while enhancing your career through cultural exchange.

For nearly four decades, Participate Learning has connected international educators with schools across the U.S. As a recognized sponsor by the U.S. Department of State, we currently support teachers in 711 schools across 80 districts in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

In collaboration with Wake County Public Schools, we are on the lookout for innovative and passionate individuals who believe in the potential of every child. As a representative of your country, you will provide authentic and impactful educational experiences for all students, preparing them to become engaged global citizens.

As an Ambassador Teacher, you will join a welcoming community where 97% of teachers opt to renew their contracts, and 96% recommend the program. Enjoy the benefit of no sponsor fees, comprehensive visa and relocation support, and mentorship from the outset.

Our dual-language (Spanish immersion) positions are part of a K–5 program that enables students to learn in two languages, promoting bilingualism, biliteracy, and a strong academic foundation. We focus on early language acquisition, which helps cultivate confident communicators, academic achievement, and active engagement in a global society.

Similar to elementary school teachers, dual language instructors lead core subject classes while teaching in Spanish, employing one of two models:

Full Immersion: 90% Spanish

50/50 distribution between English and Spanish.

We are seeking:

Qualified primary educators with training and experience teaching children aged 5–11, currently working in a school setting.

Bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English.

Benefits include:

Cultural exchange opportunities

Professional development and leadership advancement

Financial stability and family support

A transformative experience to bring home
