Position: Secondary School Social Studies Teacher
We are on the lookout for a remarkable Secondary School Social Studies Teacher to join our Social Studies department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Studies at the secondary school level, following a Common Core curriculum.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification
- A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Social Studies at the high/secondary school level
- Familiarity with the Common Core curriculum is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Successful completion of a background history check is required as part of the hiring process
