About the Programme:
The Vinschool Advanced (Cambridge) Programme is a bilingual initiative that integrates the Vinschool Education System, the Vietnamese national curriculum, and the Cambridge International Programmes of study.
What we need:
Vinschool is in search of enthusiastic, experienced, and professionally certified teachers to join our international teaching team. Successful candidates will instruct Cambridge Secondary Math, adhering to the relevant Cambridge International Curriculum Framework. They should possess the appropriate qualifications and experience, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting students in both academic and extracurricular endeavors.
Essential Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Instructing students in Mathematics in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum requirements.
- Developing curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials for class instruction and activities, as well as managing information on the LMS.
- Modifying teaching approaches, learning strategies, and instructional materials to cater to the diverse needs and interests of students.
- Conducting assessments of student achievement, tracking academic progress, and providing constructive feedback.
- Setting classroom expectations and observing and evaluating student performance, behavior, social development, and health.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and address any behavioral or academic challenges.
- Designing and implementing remedial programs for students in need of additional support.
- Participating in faculty meetings, professional development training, and school events.
- Planning and engaging in extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic competitions.
- Performing various professional duties as assigned by the Principal/Director.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field.
- A professional teaching qualification/license/certification as applicable.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience (gained after obtaining a teaching qualification) in teaching subjects within a formal school setting.
- Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum is preferred but not essential.
Language Proficiency:
- Must be a fluent English speaker (minimum C1 fluency).
Soft Skills and Characteristics:
- Exceptional presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in classroom management, time management, interpersonal relations, and teamwork.
- Adaptable, patient, flexible, dedicated, and possessing a positive attitude.
