About This Role

Job Responsibilities:

1. Deliver ICT lessons utilizing diverse teaching techniques that engage students and accommodate the curriculum demands as well as individual learning needs.
2. Uphold classroom discipline in accordance with school policies and foster positive behavior management practices among students.
3. Employ various assessment strategies to regularly evaluate and monitor student performance in alignment with course objectives.
4. Contribute to the formulation and execution of strategic action plans pertinent to the subject area.
5. Engage actively in staff and departmental meetings.
6. Effectively implement and fulfill the teaching plan as designated by the school.
7. Regularly assess and reflect on the teaching and learning approaches employed.
8. Ensure the safety of students in the classroom by implementing safeguarding measures.
9. Participate in professional development programs and ongoing learning opportunities related to subject knowledge and teaching practices.
10. Attend Parent-Teacher Conferences and other academic and pastoral events.
11. Maintain effective communication with parents concerning students' academic progress, adhering to school reporting guidelines and addressing any specific concerns as they arise.
12. Perform additional duties as required according to the school calendar.
13. Adhere to the school's current policies and regulations.
14. Consistently embody and promote the school's values within the school and the broader community.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject areas, with a Master’s degree being advantageous.
2. A minimum of three years of relevant teaching experience with an international curriculum, familiar with IGCSE and A-Level courses.
3. Strong classroom management skills and a preferred background in organizing extracurricular activities.
4. A native-level English speaker possessing professional knowledge and skills; a motivated and goal-driven individual seeking a stable, long-term position.
5. Exceptional cross-cultural awareness.
6. Extensive experience in both Chinese and Western educational systems, with the ability to understand their differences and adapt to the international curriculum effectively.
7. Respect for and adherence to school regulations.
