Located in the center of Ras Al Khaimah city, RAK Academy – Khuzam is a full-service institution that offers education from Pre-K through Grade 12. The primary section follows an adapted UK National Curriculum in conjunction with the IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), while the secondary section features a dual-pathway approach, blending the UK curriculum with the International Baccalaureate in the Sixth Form. We are accredited by British Schools Overseas (BSO), ensuring our standards meet those of top international British schools, and we provide the ECT induction for teachers.

The Role:

RAK Academy Khuzam is in search of a passionate, motivated, and inspiring Arabic A teacher to become part of our successful and vibrant Arabic department. Arabic is available from Grade 6 to 12. In Grades 9 and 10, students may choose Arabic First Language as an IGCSE subject, and for Grades 11 and 12, Arabic is offered as an option in both the A-Level and International Baccalaureate Diploma pathways.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Studies or a related discipline.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Knowledge of the Ministry of Education curriculum for Arabic A.

• A solid understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.

• High proficiency in leveraging technology to enhance educational experiences.

• Ability to engage, motivate, and support students effectively.

• Reflective practitioner with a creative and innovative approach.

• Positive, enthusiastic team player with a focus on growth.

• Willingness to actively participate in extracurricular activities.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses (Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience teaching a humanities subject for the IB Diploma.

• Proven success in enhancing student outcomes.
