We are currently looking for a creative
Secondary Alternative Pathways Teacher
to join our accomplished team starting in
August 2026.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Inclusion on the development and scheduling of the Alternative Pathway curriculum.
- Work alongside the Head of Inclusion on future initiatives for the Alternative Pathway at the school.
- Coordinate with specialist subject teachers to adapt the curriculum for mainstream classes.
- Maintain and oversee the IASEND assessment tracker for the Alternative Pathway.
- Collaborate with the Head of Inclusion and specialist subject teachers regarding reporting systems for the Alternative Pathway.
- Partner with Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Learning Support case managers in designing and managing resources for ASDAN and the Alternative Pathway.
- Internally moderate ASDAN student files required for certification.
- Conduct professional development training sessions on ASDAN for 1:1 Learning Support Assistants.
- Lead the implementation of ASDAN tasks and assignments.
- Coordinate closely with the Dubai ASDAN coordinator and the International Development coordinator to ensure effective integration, review, and moderation of ASDAN.
- Stay informed about national and international advancements in the ASDAN curriculum.
