About This Role
Kosice International School (KEIS) is seeking a passionate and committed IB PYP Physical Education Teacher to join our vibrant international educational community. The ideal applicant will have a strong enthusiasm for physical literacy, student wellness, and inquiry-based learning that aligns with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).

The Ideal Candidate Will:
● Hold a recognized teaching qualification
● Have relevant experience teaching Physical Education at the primary level
● Be familiar with or committed to the principles and practices of the IB PYP, while actively enhancing their understanding of inquiry-based and concept-driven approaches in PE
● Possess experience working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, fostering an inclusive classroom environment
● Promote physical literacy, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive health and wellness attitudes among young learners
● Design, implement, and assess high-quality Physical Education lessons that are consistent with the IB PYP
● Demonstrate strong classroom management abilities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
● Show commitment to differentiating instruction to meet the varied needs of all students
● Collaborate effectively with homeroom teachers to support transdisciplinary learning
● Organize, coordinate, and lead school sports days and other athletic events
● Plan and conduct after-school sports activities and clubs
● Use technology effectively to enhance student inquiries in PE
● Be flexible, cooperative, and willing to contribute to a dynamic and evolving school culture
● Engage in school-wide events, after-school activities, clubs, and collaborative meetings to enrich the school community
● Communicate proficiently with students, colleagues, and parents
● Adhere to safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety policies
● Be a native-level English speaker or have near-native fluency
