About This Role

At GEMS Wellington International School, we aspire to cultivate students who exemplify social responsibility, supported by an innovative, collaborative, and genuine learning environment. We are currently looking for outstanding Primary (KS1) Teachers who embody our core values of integrity, empathy, and resilience to join our dedicated team in August 2026.

Our school is known for its inclusivity and high performance, with a proud legacy of achievement measured by stringent inspection and accreditation standards. Notable examples of our success include:

- Receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating for 14 consecutive years from the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB),
- Achieving an ‘Outstanding’ rating from British Schools Overseas,
- Holding the esteemed COBIS Patrons accreditation, recognized for its exemplary leadership,
- Being acknowledged as a High Performance Learning (HPL) ‘World Class School.’

To ensure our educators remain at the forefront of global educational advancements, we offer a tailored professional development program. This initiative allows our teachers to collaborate with various stakeholders and partners, including the Schools Students and Teachers Network (SSAT) and the Best Practice Network (BPN).

Our customized professional development framework reflects our dedication not only to uphold exceptional educational standards but also to empower our teachers with cutting-edge knowledge and methodologies. In a rapidly evolving educational landscape, we believe in fostering dynamic educators. Our partnerships with prestigious organizations like the Schools Students and Teachers Network (SSAT), High Performance Learning (HPL), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and our Inquiry Driven Innovation collaboration with Harvard Project Zero ensure that our teachers have access to world-class expertise and teaching practices.
