Al Rabeeh Academy is on the lookout for a passionate, flexible, and dedicated Secondary Performing Arts Teacher (Music Specialist).

Our bilingual private school serves students from FS1 to Year 13, delivering the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, comfortable establishing open lines of communication with students, staff, and parents. It is vital for applicants to lead by example and engage fully in the Academy’s extracurricular activities program.

Qualifications:

To qualify, applicants must be fluent in English, possess a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and have at least 2 years of teaching experience in schools that adhere to the National Curriculum of England.

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Comprehensive subject knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Familiarity with current UK initiatives and developments in English
  • The ability and willingness to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Desirable experience in teaching A-levels, although not mandatory
  • Strong classroom management skills alongside excellent subject expertise
  • The potential to promote creative learning and focus on developing innovative skills suited for 21st-century learning environments
  • Confidence in utilizing IT to enhance and broaden students’ learning experiences
  • Experience in leveraging data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external assessments to monitor student progress
  • Essential experience in teaching EAL students
