Occupational Therapist - Immediate Start
About This Role
GEMS Founders School – Dubai South is in search of a committed and qualified Occupational Therapist to become a part of our Inclusion Team within GEMS Link Services. In this role, you will be essential in fostering student independence, participation, and overall well-being within the school setting. Your expertise will assist students of determination in enhancing their motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills, which are crucial for their academic and daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement occupational therapy interventions customized to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), and the Inclusion team to execute strategies and support plans within the classroom.
- Track and assess student progress, modifying interventions as needed.
- Offer training and practical strategies to staff to enhance student growth in various environments.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and reports are maintained in line with KHDA, DHA, and school standards.
