Whistler Waldorf School is seeking a dedicated and talented Math and Science Teacher for our Junior High program (Grades 9–10). This full-time (1.0 FTE) position is set to commence in September, with a competitive salary ranging from $59,000 to $86,000 CAD annually*, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Certification and Education: Possession of a valid BC teaching certification or eligibility to apply, along with a Bachelor of Education or a recognized equivalent qualification. International qualifications may be evaluated for equivalency.
- Teaching Experience: While prior teaching experience is advantageous, we also welcome applications from early-career and newly qualified educators.
- Work Authorization: Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada or have submitted an application for a work visa or permit and be awaiting approval. As this role begins in September, those who have not started the work authorization process may not be able to commence on time.
- Professional Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, facilitating the development of positive and productive professional relationships.
