Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and foster a love for learning.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports individual strengths and various learning styles.
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of all students, including EAL learners, gifted students, and those needing additional support.
- Incorporate technology and innovative strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, utilizing data to guide teaching and personalized support.
- Work collaboratively with peers to design and improve curriculum plans, resources, and assessments that align with IB standards.
- Actively participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and the wider community to support student development and wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional learning and reflection to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Demonstrate commitment to GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in all areas of school life.
