We are currently inviting applications from experienced Lower Primary (PYP) Teachers for positions starting in August 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based lessons that cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that recognizes and nurtures individual strengths and diverse learning styles.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the varied needs of all students, including those who are EAL, gifted, or in need of additional support.
- Utilize technology and innovative techniques to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, employing data to guide instruction and personalized support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to design and enhance IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.
- Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
- Establish positive relationships with parents and the wider community to support student development and wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional learning and self-reflection to further improve teaching practice.
- Uphold the values of GEMS and the IB Learner Profile in all aspects of school life.
