£12.21 per hour, rising to £12.71 per hour from April 2026
We are seeking motivated, dependable, adaptable, and organized individuals to become part of our Exams Invigilation Team. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee both internal and external examinations, ensuring adherence to guidelines and regulations that uphold the integrity and security of the exam process during assessment sessions.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Ensuring compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations during both internal and external exams
• Monitoring for potential malpractice and reporting any concerns to the Exams Officer
• Distributing and collecting examination papers
• Being aware of any specific needs candidates may have during the examination
• Ensuring that no prohibited or inappropriate items are brought into the examination room
Experience working with young people is preferred; however, comprehensive training will be provided for the successful candidate. Work hours will vary based on the exam timetable.
