We are on the lookout for a passionate and qualified Sciences Teacher to join our team at Ningbo International High School.

Campus Overview:

• Location: Located in Ningbo, a vibrant and modern city in Zhejiang Province, renowned for its rich cultural heritage and breathtaking natural scenery.
• Curriculum: We follow the US Common Core Curriculum and offer AP courses aimed at preparing students for international higher education.
• Student Body: Our school serves around 900 students in grades 9 to 12, all eager to pursue an international education.
• Faculty: Our dedicated faculty consists of 40 educators, including 34 international teachers and 6 bilingual teachers, working together to create a nurturing and enriching educational environment.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: Teaching hours are from 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Early dismissal on Fridays: 2:45 PM.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience.
• Relevant Major: A degree in a related discipline.
• Certifications Required:
  • A valid Teaching Credential/License.
  • Additional relevant certifications are a plus.

Teacher Duties:

• Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to the diverse needs of learners.
• Provide personalized and small-group instruction to support all students in achieving their academic goals.
• Evaluate students' academic and social development, maintaining detailed records and preparing progress reports.
• Maintain open lines of communication with parents to keep them updated on their child's progress.
• Collaborate with school administrators and colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in curriculum development and professional training sessions to stay abreast of best educational practices.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating school activities and events, both on and off-campus.
