About This Role
GEMS Winchester Private School Fujairah is looking for a Head of Inclusion to join our team starting in August 2026. We are in search of a skilled and passionate professional to direct the Inclusion Department and guarantee the successful application of inclusive practices throughout all educational phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the Inclusion Department in accordance with GEMS Education standards and the British curriculum.
- Supervise the identification, assessment, and support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), English as an Additional Language (EAL), and those identified as Gifted and Talented.
- Create, implement, and evaluate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and focused intervention programs.
- Assist teachers in employing inclusive teaching methods and differentiation techniques within their classrooms.
- Keep precise records and ensure adherence to the requirements set forth by the UAE Ministry of Education.
- Communicate effectively with parents, external specialists, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Foster an inclusive culture that enhances student wellbeing, progress, and academic success.
