Located in the heart of Phuket Island, HeadStart achieved ‘International School’ status in 2010 and is a fully accredited institution with The Education Development Trust. Our most recent inspection awarded us the International Schools Quality Mark (ISQM), with evaluators recognizing the school as a ‘Good School with Outstanding Features.’

Our curriculum follows the national framework of England, offering Cambridge and Pearson qualifications at the secondary level, including IGCSEs, A Levels, and BTECs. The main campus at Chaofah serves 960 students and is oversubscribed in most year groups. In August 2025, we will enhance our Upper School site and resources to establish 'HeadStart College' as the leading educational institution in Southern Thailand.

In August 2023, we inaugurated a new campus in the northern part of the island, Cherngtalay. This two-form entry Foundation, Primary, and Secondary School (KS3 only) will accommodate up to 500 students and transition to a three-form entry model in August 2025.

English Teacher - Chaofah Campus
As we expand our Upper School site and programs for Sixth Form and Key Stage 4, we seek to hire a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher to join us in August 2025.

The ideal candidate will possess experience teaching across the secondary age range and specifically in A Level English. They should be an inspiring educator capable of bringing the subject to life. Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level syllabus would be advantageous.

Please note: This is a First Language English position, **not** an EAL/Second Language role. We are looking for a highly committed team player who is driven, energetic, and passionate about fostering a love for learning in their students. A good sense of humor and a strong work ethic are essential.

Requirements / Application Details
**Essential Requirements:**
· Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
· Experience teaching students aged 11 to 18
· Prior experience teaching A Level English (Literature)
· Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
· A recognized teaching qualification: BEd, PGCE, iPGCE, or equivalent
· Fluency in English

**Desirable Requirements (not essential):**
· Previous experience in an International School setting
· Experience teaching English to Additional Language learners
