About the Role:
We are seeking ELL Teachers for Primary School to join our team immediately.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Providing English Language Learning support for students in Primary grades.
- Serving as a key supporter to the teacher in facilitating the progression and development of ELL students.
- Documenting and reporting on student progress, areas of concern, and achievements to relevant stakeholders as necessary.
- Offering training to class teachers and support staff to aid in the support of ELL students across the curriculum.
- Collaborating closely with various Learning Support teams within the school to enhance inclusive practices and continuously improve the learning capabilities and academic English language standards of ELL students.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher is preferable.
- A certified professional teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, or an equivalent specializing in EAL, ELL, or related fields.
- Additional qualifications or specializations such as TEFL/IELTS/CELTA/Cambridge certification are advantageous.
- The ability to forge strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Skills in assessing student performance, developing language plans, and setting appropriate goals to ensure student progress.
