About the Role:
We are seeking ELL Teachers for Primary School to start immediately.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing English Language Learning support to students in the Primary grades.
- Serving as a key supporter to the Teacher in monitoring the progression and development of ELL students.
- Documenting and communicating progress, concerns, and achievements regarding supported students to relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Offering training to class teachers and support staff to enhance their ability to support ELL students across the curriculum.
- Collaborating closely with various Learning Support teams within the school to promote inclusive practices and continuously enhance the learning capabilities and academic English language standards of ELL students.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher is preferred.
- A certified professional teaching qualification, such as a B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent, with a specialization in EAL, ELL, or a similar field.
- Additional qualifications or specializations, such as TEFL, IELTS, CELTA, or Cambridge certification, will be considered an advantage.
- The ability to cultivate strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in assessing student performance, developing language plans, and establishing suitable goals for students to ensure their progress.
